Let it snow!

The LEDman is big, round, slightly playful, joyous and colorful. This animated light installation reflects a snowman’s expressions of smiling face, scarf and buttons as well as colorful swirls, snowballs, winter landscapes, and other effects. The object with its playful animations will evoke childhood memories of winter pleasures: snowball fights, fooling around in the snow, sledging and of course building snowmen.

The light installation has 12 different animations about winter and Christmas themes. The LEDman is made of metal construction on the reinforced concrete base. The round shape and holes for LED pixels had been made using a plasma cutter. The LEDman consists of 3460 individually addressable LED light pixels that are controlled using RaspberyPi and FadeCandy controllers.
