Enjoy the feeling of Latvian nature!

Art installation The Fence Of Light is created as a combination of styled fence and entry gate, which symbolizes Latvian natives' country farm and leads you to the tavern located on the main pedestrian avenue in the seaside town Jurmala, Latvia. The main entry gate is formed in a shape of ethnographic sign Jumis that is ancient Latvians' symbol of rich harvest and in modern times still brings blessing to you and your household.

The fence consists of 102 organic glass light tubes 5cm in diameter and 50cm in height, while the gate is made of wooden beams with organic glass cover. Both, the fence and the gate are created using programming RGB LED lights, which helps to gain the best light effects for attracting visitors. There are about 12 basic animations in total that are displayed at random and change every 5 minutes. These effects give you a variety of natural feelings, such as walking through the forest or sitting near the bonfire, watching sea waves or gazing at the starry sky...
